No active warnings or watches. All hazards monitored as normal.
Move to higher ground away from the shoreline. Secure boats. Do not walk or drive through surge water.
Stay clear of the reef edge, breakwater and harbour mouth. Small vessels remain in port.
Lift belongings off the floor, switch off mains power if water enters, and follow drainage routes.
If you feel a long or strong quake or the sea withdraws, do not wait for sirens. Move inland and to the highest floor immediately.
Report missing persons or vessels to the Coast Guard on 191 with last known location and time.
Secure loose objects, stay indoors during squalls, and keep away from coconut palms and power lines.
↑ Most serious first.
ℹ Live multi-channel alerts will integrate with authoritative NDMA and Maldives Met Service feeds in a later phase. Who is authorised to trigger or clear an alert is still to be confirmed. Always treat official radio, the Met Service and NDMA as the primary source.

Wait for the all-clear before returning. Avoid downed lines and contaminated water; check on neighbours.
Memorise the inland evacuation route and assembly point. Agree a family meeting place.
Go on foot to the highest ground or upper floors. Do not return for belongings. Help children and elders.
Stay high until authorities confirm it is safe. Waves arrive in series, and the first is rarely the largest.
Keep an extinguisher and torch accessible; know two ways out of every room. Test smoke alarms.
Get out and stay out. Call the Fire service. Stay low under smoke; feel doors before opening.
Do not re-enter until cleared. Report gas or electrical damage before reconnecting power.
Keep a stocked first-aid kit and a list of medications and allergies for each household member.
Call Ambulance 118 or the Hospital. Give your exact location and stay on the line.
Follow discharge advice, restock used supplies, and note what to improve in your kit.
